My experience at Paris School of Business has been incredibly disappointing. The professors consistently deliver lectures in subpar English, making it challenging to grasp the material. The administration’s lack of support is striking; they are rarely available, and when they are, it seems like they have no interest in assisting students. The institution presents itself as strict, but it’s evident that they have no real control over the academic environment and offer minimal help to students. This has been a regrettable and frustrating experience, ultimately amounting to a significant waste of both time and money.
My year at PSB has been a wonderful experience. This year I was part of the International MBA program, and sharing this experience with new classmates from all over the world in a new city, I have made some amazing friendships, ones that I …
These attached documents were written on behalf of the International luxury and fashion management course. Everyone in our year group signed these documents however due to privacy issues I have decided to exclude the names. Our entire year group was incredibly dissatisfied with the quality and had several attempts to improve our learning environment throughout the year by addressing certain problems with higher management. Unfortunately for us our concerns were not reassured. This is a poor institution for learning and if you are applying for a serious masters degree I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. I am writing this review anonymously as my peers who have written their disappointments as public online reviews are now being threatened by the head of course and dean of the school. For many of us international students who came to Paris hopeful of gaining professional business skills and acquire the french language we have been let down by the institution. It has been a complete disappointment. Our mission is to prevent other students from spending a high fee for an education not worthy of that sum. I hope you will look further into your endeavour if your wish is to study in Paris. It is a beautiful city but this school is not a winner.
- In response to PSB admin, this public damage control you are doing to justify your standpoint is absurd. You can see in the letter written on behalf of all students that the responsiveness to our concerns via admin was never addressed. Your response to my review is the most proactive I have experienced the admin staff. If it were handled in the correct manner the students would not continuously be writing negative reviews. There were a few new cases towards the end of the year that I find particularly appalling. 1) Teachers not attending classes! Due to this we are to have more 'make up classes' after our study year is meant to be completed. Many of us as international students no longer live in France. Exams were end of April. Why do we need to attend class in October? 2) Writing a paper on a class we were not taught to be able to gain credits. I did not realise by enrolling to PSB that I would have to fulfil non taught classes by learning off of google and wikipedia. What a scam. I would like a refund.
PSB offers many interesting courses within the sphere of business. The school also aims to diversify, so you get the chance to meet students from different countries. As an international student learning at PSB, it is a fun experience! The courses are taught by professors from a different country and they really show a different perspective of learning. Highly recommend this school and this city.
Beware everyone they don’t tell about the admission criteria before the application procedure. They ask for admission fee and then tell that you require this and that bla bla bla. And after taking 100 euros fee they say no you are not eligible for a refund. Wow is this even for real !!
I am currently doing my semester abroad at the PSB. The best part about the school is that the teachers are very friendly and teach you a lot about entering the business world. I've learned a lot and clearly improved my presentation skills. …
THE WORST SCHOOL I’VE EVER ATTENDED!
Please save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Starting off, you’re paying 10k/year and getting nothing in return. The facilities in this school is awful and you get no help from the staff. The school is always a disorganized mess. Some of the teachers are under qualified. The administration is rude, unhelpful and incompetent. It’s been months since students have raised concerns with unjustified absences and the school does nothing to resolve it. The staff and administration will deny their responsibility and tell you to talk to someone else and the cycle goes on. The administration never responds to calls or emails making the concerns of students pile up and unresolved. There is a constant change in schedule and students do not get a notice until the day before or they will not be informed of the change at all. Extremely unorganized school and constantly putting stress on their students.
Second, they made me take a TOEFL/IELTS test to do a semester abroad even though i’m a native english speaker with a high school diploma from the US. The school requires students to have the test results even though their partner school says otherwise for native english speakers. I would be fine with taking the test but PSB makes students pay for their own tests which could cost up to €300 and completely useless for a native speaker like me. Other schools like ESCE (similar private business school) do not make their students pay for the english test and covers the cost.
Everyday at this school is a mess. Half of my class dropped out after the first semester due to how awful it it. Save your money and go to a better school like HEC or ESSEC.
I am currently following the study abroad program for one semester at PSB. The teachers are well experienced and confident in dealing with the gap in the level of knowledge between the students and their different cultural background. …
